In July 2005 after contacting Spanish Inland Properties on the internet, we visited Galera and were shown a number of unreformed caves in the village and surrounding area.
At no time during the three days did we feel pressured in any way to buy. We decided on a cave, met with the builders and arrangements were made for the reformation.
Monthly, we visited Galera to oversee the work. We never encountered a problem that wasn't dealt with promptly and respectfully.
Spanish Inland Properties' services included translation, legal and financial advice, as well as basic information on where to buy furniture and fittings. The process was smooth and with regular e-mail contact we were kept informed throughout.
In November 2005, building work was completed. We are very happy with our casa cueva, and try to visit every six weeks.
We have chosen not to rent out the property but trust that if we ever did, Spanish Inland Properties would support and assist us with the process.
