Carramaiza is a small hamlet which comes under the municipality of Zujar and has a population of approx. 70 people. The stunning views attract many visitors and there are also particularly beautiful natural hiking routes and excursions throughout the Guadalentin valley and in the nearby National Parks of Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas.
Carramaiza is also around an hour's drive away from the wonderful city of Granada which has ski-ing during the winter months and is the nearest airport followed by Almeria, Murcia and Alicante.
There are beach areas, hot springs and watersports at Lake Negratin and the coast is around 1h30 drive away and the nearest airport is Granada which is 1.5 hours drive away.
