La Alqueria is a lovely small hamlet with no amenities and fantastic scenery with a population of approx. 100 people. It is situated just 3km from the pretty village of Galera which has all of the usual facilities, the remains of ancient civilizations, a weekly market and a swimming pool open during the summer months. It's just 10 mins drive from the town of Huéscar and 30 mins by car to the bustling town of Baza.
The coast is around 1h30 drive away and the nearest airport is Granada which is 1h30 drive away, followed by Almeria, Murcia, Alicante and Malaga.
