It is approximately 7km from the larger historical town of Baza.

The Sierra de Baza mountain range is approximately a 10 minute drive away from the property and in the opposite direction, about 1/2km away is part of the Via Verde cycle track.

At the front of the property is a patio and pergola, ideal for dining or relaxing with stunning views across to the mountains. There is ample room for parking, 2 fenced areas, one used as a vegetable patch and the other used to house chickens.

There are also 2 additional caves currently being used for storage and on another patio area there's a toilet and an outside shower. A small storage room houses the batteries for the solar system. Various fruit trees have been planted on the other side of the cave and there is plenty of room to plant more.

You enter the cave into the kitchen and a breakfast/sitting area which has a large fire place. From here there is a snug with a wood burner and a short tunnel which leads to a double bedroom. The kitchen also leads to two other rooms currently being used as a dining and sitting area and from here there is a room that has not yet been renovated (possibly a 5th bedroom). There is also a utility area which leads to another double bedroom and a bathroom. Off from here there are 2 single bedrooms, a storage room and another entrance.

Although the property has solar power for electricity, it is possible to be connected to the mains. The water has mains water and a septic tank. Internet is possible.

The nearest airport is Granada which is approximately 1h 15 away, followed by Almeria, Murcia, Alicante and Malage.

Mojacar is one of the nearest sandy beaches and is approximately 1hr 20 away. Closer to the property is Lake Negratin (25 mins) which is notorious for its thermal baths.

Esta bonita propiedad está situada cerca de una pequeña aldea llamada Los Gallardos/Valcabra y está a poca distancia en coche del pueblo de Caniles, que cuenta con todas las comodidades para un pueblo de su tamaño, incluido un mercado semanal y una piscina exterior abierta en los meses de verano. La cocina también conduce a otras dos habitaciones que actualmente se utilizan como comedor y sala de estar y desde aquí hay una habitación que aún no ha sido renovada (posiblemente un quinto dormitorio). También hay un lavadero que conduce a otro dormitorio doble y un baño. Desde aquí hay 2 dormitorios individuales, un trastero y otra entrada.

Aunque la propiedad dispone de energía solar para la electricidad, es posible conectarse a la red eléctrica. El agua tiene agua corriente y fosa séptica. Internet es posible.

El aeropuerto más cercano es el de Granada que está aproximadamente a 1h 15, seguido de Almería, Murcia, Alicante y Malage.
