Children are welcome in all bars and restaurants. The welcomes are warm and the food delicious. In many of the restaurants you can go there just for a drink with tapas, a snack or a meal. Restaurante El Parador. Specialises in meñu del día, €8 per person (weekdays only) which consists of 3 courses with wine or beer, and in food cooked "a la brasa". Friendly staff and good food. Closed Monday evenings
El Cruce: Favoured by the younger adult population. Table football, darts and loud music!

Directions: Come out of Galera and go left on to the A330 towards Huescar. Once at Huescar follow the road round, (you will pass a park on your right, and school on your left). Stay on the road as it takes a righthand bend (there is another school on the left on the bend) and then a lefthand bend (there is a Ford garage on your right on the bend). Stay on this road until you get to a crossroads (there is a medical centre on left). Turn right at this junction. The cave restaurant is approximately 1 km on this road. It is the only building on this road so you can´t miss it. If the door is open then the restaurant is open.

Pizzeria La Tarima: Fantastic pizzeria which does the best Gambas Al Ajillo (garlic prawns) in the area, fact! Closed Mondays
Directions: Come out of Galera and go left on to the A330 towards Huescar. Once at Huescar follow the road round, (you will pass a park on your right, and school on your left). As the road bends to your right (there is a school on the bend) left left here and then take the 1st left and park. You are now in the market square in Huescar. La Perla is on your right on the corner.

From Galera take the A330 towards Cullar. After approx. 10kms you will see a sign indicating petrol 3kms and the curry cave turn-off is approx. 100 yards on your left after this. There are paintpots by the side of the road and when open signs indicating the Curry Cave.

Directions: on the road to Cullar on your right, the restaurant will be on your right.
Restaurante Los Collados de la Sagra. Spectacular setting amongst the pine trees of La Sagra. Excellent food specialising in game. Expensive but considered the best restaurant in the region with people travelling all the way from Valencia to eat there. There is also an hotel if you wish to stay the night. If you are planning visiting at the weekend, it is advisable to book in advance. Telephone: 958 344 464 / 958 344 472 Directions: head towards La Puebla de don Fadrique from Galera along the A330. Drive through the town. Pass through the traffic lights and follow signs for Murcia, the road bends to the right but you need to turn left following signs for Santiago la Espalda and Los Collados de la Sagra. Road is long and windy, be patient and follow the road. After approximately 5km, turn left following signs for Los Collados de la Sagra. The restaurant will be on your right. |
Directions: Follow the road to Castril, continue past Castril (do not drive into the town) for another 5km. You will start to drive through a wooded area. The restaurant will be on your right, just off from the main road.
