Finca Olivar is situated in Santa Fe, 5km from Granada Airport and 12 km from Granada city centre.
The farm covers an area of 380 hectares with approximately 80,000 olive trees, all planted in groves with drip feed irrigation, cultivation is traditional and intensive. The olive variety is Picual, Arbequina, Manzanilla and Hojiblanca.
The olive trees are of different ages, but all in production, while the youngest will increase its production each year. It aims to collect 6,000,000 kg of olives when the youngest are in full swing.
There are a raft of water storage units holding a total of 550,000,000 litres and three other regulating ponds where water is supplied to different irrigation sectors in which the estate is divided.
The company is granted to take from the Guadalquivir River 17 litres per second and another 30 litres per second. This water comes to the farm via irrigation ditches. There are also wells on the land which can be utilised if required.
Planting distances are 6x4, 10x5, 7x7 and 10x10.
The sale includes all the machinery and implements for tilling and harvesting, there are warehouses and sheds for filtering and booster pump.
On the property are two Andalusian stately farmhouses with 722 m2 sharing a common courtyard, bar, wine cellar, pool and gardens.
Recently the farm has been rented out for weddings held on the grounds. In addition there are 9 auxiliary temporary housing. Three sheds of tools and workshops.
OIL FACTORY - ALMAZARA
It is built in the grounds of the house with 3,063 m2. It has a capacity of 400,000kg daily grinding of the olives. All the production of the olive oil is robotic.
The oil storage capacity is 1,170,000 kgs, with 16 tanks and 8 Kg deposits 50,000 25,000 Kg.
For reception of the olive mills there are 3, 4, 1 decanter centrifuges.
The area has also has the facility of a complete laboratory, one office building, offices and meeting rooms, and a locker.
