El Chorro has no facilities but Quesada is just a 5 minute drive away. Quesada is a pretty town with approximately 6,000 inhabitants and more than 2,000 years of history. It has all the usual facilities such as several bars, shops, town hall, medical centre, a school for all ages, several squares, etc.
The nearest airports are Granada (1h50 drive away – 145km) and Almeria (2h20 drive away – 204km). There are beach areas at Lake Negratin which is around 45 minutes drive away and the coast is around 2h25 by car.
